This effort encompassed 20 related initiatives to improve the text engine, design and plug-ins along with a refactor of legacy code. Here is a list of highlights that we are pleased to bring to your attention:
- Updated symbol functionality on floating toolbar (LO-5548)
- Added List Properties to floating toolbar (LO-5504)
- Addition of a line spacing icon to the toolbar that will mirror the functionality found on List Properties (LO-5412)
- Allow rounded quotes to be copy and pasted (LO-5573)
- Settings for better control of indenting and padding on bulleted and numbered lists (LO-6382)
- Ability to directly edit the HTML of text blocks (L0-5541)
- The text editor now includes the CodeCogs Equation Editor (LO-272)
- HTML objects now display their title-explorer label as text (LO-5649)Enable/Disable Mobile View - You will see a slide switch now on each view which can be used to enable or disable that view. This new feature allows you to turn off any responsive views that are not ready to be published You can work on each view by enabling the view in edit mode. If you are not yet ready to publish a view you can turn it off for publishing. Any disabled view will use its parent view when published. For example, if phone portrait is disabled then tablet portrait will be displayed, unless tablet portrait is disabled and then the desktop view will be displayed. The course content will scale to the device dimensions.
- In addition, enhancements to shape recognition and call-outs improve the import process for PowerPoint presentations.

- When embedding an image in between text blocks, it will no longer shrink when changing views in an RCD title (LO-5680)
- Number and bullet lists no longer shrink in Firefox and Chrome when data is removed (LO-5664)

- Applying a color to a bulleted/ numbered list will now color the first line (LO-5575)

- Copy and pasted bullets will now retain their styles without reverting back to a default (LO-5567)

- The font size of text inside a block will no longer change after highlighting and typing in Internet Explorer 11 (LO-5531)
