Menus, Badges, Game Boards, & More: Who Knew Status Indicators could do all that!

In addition to managing the development and delivery of custom e-learning courses for a variety of clients, Tanya focuses her efforts on finding and creating organizational tools and resources for improving e-learning development processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality content, and reducing project time and costs. Tanya spent nearly eight years working for Trivantis, the makers of Lectora. She has been involved in not only creating instructor-led and web-based training programs and materials, but also in leading the design and development of e-learning authoring software and learning management systems.

Tanya has over 10 years of public speaking experience and has presented at a variety of eLearningGuild and ATD conferences, most recently at DevLearn 2014. She presented for 8 straight years at the Lectora User Conference (2006-2013) and has conducted Lectora training classes for organizations around the world, including CRTVU (the largest open university in China), IBM, eBay (Germany), Bank of America, and the US Center for Disease Control. Prior to her involvement in e-learning, Tanya taught mathematics courses at the university level and spoke at various international mathematics conferences.

Breakout Session: Menus, Badges, Game Boards, & More: Who Knew Status Indicators could do all that!

In this session, learn how the Status Indicator object works in Lectora, the actions and conditions you can use with it, and how you can put it to use within your courses to create badges, menus, process flows, game boards, and more! You will see several examples of course content that use status indicators and will learn how each was built so you can incorporate some of the ideas into your own courses.
