Hidden Objects: Finding the Fun in Mandatory Education

Angel received her Associates in Applied Science in office Technology in 2003. She worked in the public school system as an informatics technology assistant. Angel was the administrator of the governing electronic system that focused on reporting, ordering, and monitoring of the students. In 2004, Angel, was recruited by Grays Harbor Community Hospital (GHCH) to be the Administrative Secretary of the Education Department. She is responsible for maintaining schedules, monitoring budgets, and provides hands-on computer education for hospital staff. In 2007, the education department purchased CiNOW an online learning system. Angel was selected to be the CiNow system administrator. 2011, Lectora software was purchased. This purchase enabled our education department to increase the quality of the module education we provide. Angel has the sole responsibility for building modules using Lectora, working directly with CiNOW technology staff and publishing the created modules.

With Lectora, you will create a hidden objects game using variables, transparent buttons, actions, and page markers to hide previously viewed images.

Hidden Objects: Finding the Fun in Mandatory Education

Rebekah has been in the health care field since 1997, starting as an LPN progressing to RN, completing her Master's Degree in education 2009. Rebekah started her career in education in 2002, developing and teaching a nursing program. In 2010 Rebekah was recruited as a clinical educator at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. Shortly after her hire, the hospital began a project to implement a computer documentation system to meet the federal and state government standards. Rebekah was given primary responsibility for the creation of all educational modules relating to the new documentation system. She was also responsible for training clinical staff at various educational levels. Utilizing Lectora the modules that Rebekah created resulted in staff education and competency testing. Publishing Lectora modules through CiNOW provides a transcript for each employee that is used to provide documentation in meeting standards for regulatory bodies.
