Creating Web-based, accessible content (Section 508/WCAG)

You can use Lectora to create titles published to a Web-based format (HTML, CourseMill, SCORM/Web-based, AICC/Web-based) that comply with the standards set in Section 508 - 1194.22 of the Rehabilitation Act and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 - Level AA. To comply with WCAG 2.0 - AA, your titles must also meet the 2.0 Level A standards.

These standards govern the requirements that must be met to enable Web-based content to be accessible to individuals with disabilities. View information about these standards at http://www.section508.gov and http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/.

Various government agencies have successfully created Web accessible content using the program. While the Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 standards can be interpreted in various ways, this section provides information and instructions for satisfying the requirements set forth in Section 508 1194.22 and WCAG 2.0 - Level AA.
