The Best of eLearning in November 2016

Best of November eLearning

November was a busy and exciting month for the Trivantis® team! We made some big announcements and traveled to some top industry conferences, like I4PL in Toronto, Canada, and DevLearn 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. What were those announcements? I’m glad you asked.

Lectora 17 Previewed at DevLearn 2016 Conference & Expo

A new version of Lectora® is coming soon, and DevLearn attendees were the first to experience it. Along with the popular Responsive Course Design™ feature and eLearning Brothers integrations from Lectora Inspire 16, Lectora Inspire 17 will include the integration of BranchTrack—a tool for easily building branching scenarios. Lectora Inspire 17 will also include new releases of Camtasia® and Snagit®. In addition, Lectora 17 will add the new Seamless Play publish feature, which eliminates the screen wipe often seen with HTML page loading. Sign up for the free webinar Wednesday, December 7, 2016, to learn more about the features in Lectora 17.

We had a great time showing DevLearn attendees the new features of Lectora 17, as well as hearing all the brilliant breakout sessions and Learning Stages talks. Special thanks to Windy Schneider, CACI International and Joe Ganci, eLearning Joe for their shout outs to Trivantis tools Lectora and ReviewLink™ in their presentations!

Lectora Online: Cloud-based Authoring for Docebo Customers

This month, we announced a new integration between Lectora Online and Docebo, a leading LMS provider. The integration allows for one-click publishing of a xAPI course straight from Lectora Online into Docebo. This provides a powerful reporting benefit to eLearning developers because they’re able to push custom name/value pairs using xAPI into Docebo for a vast range of reporting purposes. Sign up for a free trial at Trivantis.com/Docebo or join us for a free webinar on xAPI in eLearning.

LUC 2017 Lightning Talks and Call for Speaker Proposals

This month, we revealed that we’re including a new presentation format in the 2017 Lectora User Conference. Lightning talks are a series of short, rapid-fire presentations from several different speakers. They’re great for newbie presenters who want to ease their way up to a full breakout session. Of course, you can still submit a proposal for a breakout session or workshop. Ready to accept this mission? Submit a proposal now.

December promises to be an equally exciting month, packed with informative webinars and new releases. Stay tuned!
