Lectora Publisher Version 9.2

Lectora Version 9 includes the following new features and enhancements:

• Animation Wizards - Easily create more engaging courses by using the new animation wizards which guide you through configuring and customizing Flash animations from the Media Library.
• Export to Word - Easily repurpose and share course content in a Word document by exporting the text from your title to Microsoft Word (.doc).
• ‘Save As’ Functionality - For added security, use the new Save As option in the File menu to create a copy of your current title. After the title is copied, the newly created copy of the title will be opened, ensuring that any changes you make are saved to the latest version.
• Preview in Browser Selection - For easier course previewing after publishing, you can now use the pull-down on the Preview button to choose the browser in which you want to preview your published title.
• Contextual Printing - Conveniently print specific content within desired chapters, sections, or pages to easily review or share content.
• Easy Flash Parameter Editing - It’s now even easier to change the configuration of Flash animations that are inserted in your title. Simply use the pull-down lists in the Value fields to make the selection of values fast and easy.
• New Flash Games - Make tests more interactive by using the two new Flash games within the Media Library. The new Categories game and Million Dollar Question game instantly jazz up any course.
• Streaming Flash Videos - Eliminate the need for users to download videos within a course by streaming Flash videos from any location on the Web.
• Standard Tool Hotkeys - For quicker course creation, you can now assign hotkeys to the standard set of tools. These tools include the Button Wizard, Background Wizard, Certificate Tool, Chart Tool, Page Numbering Tool, and Translation Tool.
• Enhanced Form Objects - Save time and effort by using the same variable within multiple forms, thus conveniently populating previously entered form data. This is especially beneficial when creating form simulations and eliminates the need to retype existing variable information.
• String Variable Subtraction - When modifying variables, save time with the subtract from Variable modification type which enables you to remove all instances of a character string from a variable's value.
• Enhanced ‘Save A Copy’ Functionality - As an additional saving option, you can save a copy of your title to a location you specify and the existing copy will remain open for you to continue working on it, ensuring that you have a back-up of your title.
• Metadata Security Levels - With the new metadata field, you can now define course security levels which can be used by your LMS to ensure security clearance for specific content.

This Maintenance Pack includes the following bug fixes:

• Corrected "Member not found" error with SWF files with Flash 7.
• Flash videos now appear full screen in preview.
• Allows windows X to close Publish Dialog.
• PowerPoint Filter no longer causes PowerPoint to crash.
• Help File variables are now translated in German Lectora.
• Fixed the issue of titles not opening due to corrupted image file.
• Corrected having some default publish strings in English and some in German.
• Skins Tab has a user friendly message for non-flash.
• A warning message is now issued when publishing to SCORM with essay question response greater than 255.
• Publish to AICC/SCORM now includes else actions in error check.
• Chinese characters in the Language Selection List of the install now display correctly.
• Translate Tool now handles the last item in lists correctly.
