Lectora OnlineLectora Online has been enhanced with several new features that help collaborative teams create more interactive and appealing elearning courses. Lectora Online now supports streaming video, media player skin options, enhanced Flash support and other features that help you add or fine tune animation in your courses, or “titles” as they are called in the Lectora book metaphor. If you are interested in a trial version of Lectora Online, click here or learn more about key features here.

Streaming Video

Now you can display videos that already exist online without embedding them in your courses. Stream Flash (.flv) and YouTube video directly within your titles.

Media Player Skins

Easily customize the look of your Flash (.flv) video or audio object media player with new skin options.

Enhanced Flash Support

You can upload your own resources such as recorded audio for use with configurable Flash animations available in Lectora Online. Test your animations in Preview mode.

Web 2.0 Pop Ups

Create modern Web 2.0 light-box style windows and avoid issues with pop-up blockers.

Animation Speed Option for Move To and Size To Actions

Now when animating or moving items on the page, you can select the speed of animation. The end-user will be able to see the object move across the page, shrink, or grow when the action is executed.

Move and Copy Titles

When you're managing your titles, take advantage of the new Move and Copy functions to reorganize your title structure or make copies of your titles.

Export to Word

You can export the text within your title to a Word document. Save your textual content so you can continue to edit it offline.

Configurable Reviewer Notifications

When you are adding an external reviewer, you have the option to customize the email instructions that are automatically sent to the reviewers.

Additional Variable Support

Use an existing variable for form objects. This enables you to pre-populate form objects with a value based on previous user interactions. Additional variable support enables you to use the "Subtract from variable" modification type to remove all instances of a specified string value from the variable's current value. Use the "Subtract from variable" modification type when executing "Modify Variable" actions.
