What is Social Networking?  How can you use Social Networking tools to enhance elearning for your students?

Paul Schneider from GeoLearning and Heather Wright from First Tennessee Bank  addressed these questions in their very informative, thought provoking, and fun presentation.  The presentation covered the importance of social learning in today's training and development, and specifically how social networking tools can enhance elearning courses.  They used Lectora for their presentation and what was really cool was how they integrated a live Twitter stream into their presentation.  Attendees were tweeting as they were presenting adding a new dimension to the standard presentation.  Paul gave us a peek at the tool he built to add the twitter stream into Lectora.  Heather discussed how First Tennessee Bank integrated Yammer, another micro-blogging tool, into a Lectora course to help their learners better master the material. Great presentation!
