I have a serious problem with some SCORM 1.2 content that has been developed and we are trying to playback using an ipad.
It appears that several plain old buttons just do not seem to register a click when using the ipad touch screen. As an example we have 2 screens both using buttons with exactly the same architecture and navigation rules. Whilst the button on the first page works everytime, the button on the second page works once in every 100 clicks, or there abouts.
I have done extensive debugging on this issue using the Safari conole on the ipad to write out values and find out what is happening. It appears the button just doesn't register the click, even though the rollover state displays.
What I have found is that the same course published as HTML rather than SCORM does not produce the same problems. It seems that it is something to do with the course being published as SCORM.
There are not any JavaScript errors displaying in the console. The course is fine on Win/IE Win/Saf etc and so it seem isolated to ipad SCORM.
The unsual thing is the SCORM/ipad will work if running on an old iOS (3.2.2), but running on iOS 4.3.5 and 4.3.3, it doesn't work.
Anyway assistance with this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
