Unhappy Test question - can't go to next question

    Hello folks,

I have a particular question where I have included an additional graphic with an embedded Action (On: Show, Hide: This object). This action occurs immediately and just adds a bit of splash to this test page.

The problem is that the presence of this action causes the Go To: Next Page/Submit button to fail. In other words, you cannot pass this page. If I re-activate the navigation buttons (forward/backward) they also fail to work on this page.

After realizing that the "Action" was the cause, I removed it and placed a transition (wipe right) on a secondary graphic (to approximate the effect of the "Action" command). But it turns out that graphics transitions do not work if the graphic is associated with a drag and drop question.

Anyway, I ended up removing all the effects.

Has anyone else attempted something like this and/or is there a way to do this?

    Thank you

Are you running the latest version of Lectora, which is X.6? There was a known issue in the previous build where actions on the page with a question could cause the navigation on that page to not function correctly. This has been corrected in X.6, so if you are on that version, then it could be something else causing this issue which I will look into.

I am running version X.6 (8458) and I can assure you the problem still exists.

In fact, I also noticed that transitions also fail but do not prevent navigation. Example: A text box, with a Transition In (in the test section), does not appear. I do not recall this ever being a problem in past versions.

BTW, Can you provide a reference to this known problem because Trivantis support is certainly not aware.

    Thank you for your help.

If you can upload your title or a small title that demonstrates this to http://cds.trivantis.com, I can take a look at it for you to try and determine the cause. If it is an issue in Lectora, I will report it so that it will get corrected in a future update or version.
