Drawing Objects Viewing Incorrectly in Browsers or When Published
I have lines and ellipses on pages that appear exactly where I want them in Lectora. However, when I view them in any browser or publish them they are not at the right coordinates. I have deleted them, created new ones, deleted the pages and created new ones. And still the problem persists! Any suggestions? Thank you.

How much are they off? You did not say.
There are more than 35 differences between Preview mode and viewing the pages in a browser (Preview in browser, Publish to HTML, AICC, SCORM). Please check them out in this free paper: www.eProficiency.com/webStore/ and search for "differences".
What you describe is not one of them so I would really like to see it.
1. Create a new title in a new folder with just the problem page(s). Remove any confidential information.
2. Publish and check the Delete box to remove all unused resources to a) get the file size down AND b) most importantly make sure that it still fails as you describe.
3. Then File menu > Export > Zip and send that zip file to me at the email below along with a brief description of the problem (as I help a lot of others). Be sure to include your phone # if in the US.

I never have any problems with placing lines and arrows over images. However, if you are placing these over text, you may run into issues when using multiple lines in a text box and viewing in Firefox and some other browsers as text is displayed differently in FireFox as compared to IE.

Rwalters, you are correct in regards to text.
If you are comparing the images in relation to text blocks, most likely, the drawing objects are where they should be and it is the text that is being displayed differently. Lectora cannot control the text like it can inside of Lectora, as the browser will display the text based on the starting coordinates, the font, font size and the text to be displayed in the Lectora generated code but you tend to see differences in line spacing and spacing between characters. Where you are seeing this, try rendering one of the text blocks as an image, publish out and see if the drawing objects appear where they should be. If that looks fine, then you know it is the text causing the issue.

I have had a similar issue when trying to place an image amid a text block. For example: Click the home icon, actual icon sitting here, to return to the home page. In the past I either previewed in browser until I got it where I wanted or took the path of least resistance and just didn't do that!
