Buttons not working on iPhone
I have published an online course with Lectora X, intended for delivery to an iPhone.
When I upload it to the LMS and try it on my PC, all the navigation arrows work perfectly.
However when I try it on my iPhone, some (not all) of the navigation arrows don't work. They are clickable, but no action happens.
I though I might have had text boxes overlaying the buttons, but I checked that. I also made the buttons always on top, but again no luck.
Any ideas?
P.S. I didn't use one of the mobile templates provided by Trivantis. It is my own creation.

Getting closer
I've narrowed this down to a problem with hyperlinked images, whether it be a button or a graphic with an added action.
Text-based hyperlinks appear to be working OK.
I'm unsure as to whether this is a quirk with Lectora or iOS.
Any genius ideas?

Obviously JS problem. Maybe you have JS turned off?

I am running into a similiar issue but right now it is only impacting navigation (forward/back arrows). The arrows will work fine until I get to a page with a question on it, then the following page(s) the navigation no longer works. I am using image buttons and have tried it by using inheritance with the buttons and even placing the navigations buttons on each page, with the same results. I am using one of the templates provided by Trivantis, slightly modified to use a single image as the background and have set the background in the properties vice having it as an inherited object to avoid the possibility of the background graphics covering the buttons.
One thing I did discover is that turning off the auto feedback and creating a hidden text box for the correct/incorrect answer does help.

I can't explain it, MShawn63.
I though it might be a rollover issue as the iPhone doesn't support thay functionality. So I removed Clicked Image and Mouseover Image from all the buttons, but still no good.
I even deleted each button, inserted a plain graphic and added an action to it to go to the next page. Again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I'm uncomfortable with the unreliability of the situation so I've now replaced all the image buttons with text boxes, with an image underneath to mimic a button. Because the links are text based, they all work perfectly.
It's a work-around that I don't really like. If anyone gets to the bottom of this one, please let me know!!!

Hello Ryan,
Did you ever find a good solution?
I am developing courseware on the iPhone and want to make sure all of the bugs have been worked out.
Thanks,
Chuck

Text hyperlinks
Hey Chuck, unfortunately I've had no time to pursue this, so it's on the back burner.
The work-around that I had implmented was to create button images that are just graphics (so not actually buttons) and put text hyperlinks ("Next" and "Back") over the top of those.
The problem never occurs with text hyperlinks, just image buttons.
My other advice is to test it for yourself. I haven't tried it on the iPhone 4 or the iPad 2. And it could just be individual configurations playing up.
I sent emails to Lectora support here in Australia but I never got a reply. Obviously I'm considering using another authoring tool for mobile.

Apparently Trivantis' poor support is widespread. Grrrr...
Ryan, if you PM me your questions, I will copy U.S. Trivantis support on your behalf.
I've had similar problems but gave up for now so I am extremely interested in the outcome of your issues.

Thanks Shawn, but it will be a while before I get a chance to look at this again.
If/when I do, I'll get back in touch.
