Default Yet Another Cookie Size Exceed query (IE)

We run various course on our LMS (generated using Lectora) and we have found wierd cookie size exceed problem on IE. Is there any optimization in Lectora to compress cookie name or any work around to this problem?

Well not really. Most cookie size is taken up by answers to multiple choice questions. When I have a lot of them I do two things. 1) change the name of the question variable from Question_0001 to Q1; 2) change the question answer choices to a, b, c, d, hide them and put the user answers in a plain text box. Takes a bit for the first question but then you can just copy and paste the question for the remaining ones. Not too hard. Does NOT work if you are using the Results page in a test.

Thanks but that is insane, there should be an option in Lectora itself to compress cookie variable name.

Well you are right, there should be but there isn't right now. So, what are you going to do?

The tedious way, as you suggested. Which is creepy but it seems there is no other way.
