    Default Lectora and Moodle

My next project involves creating eLearning for Moodle (v2 I think). Anyone with experience delivering via Moodle? If so, did it work smoothly? If not, what do I need to know?

    Default Exporting to Moodle 1.9

I'm trying to export a title to Moodle and experience 2 problems that I don't have in a "single file executable".

    1) after processing a question and displaying a message box, the goto buttons (forward, backward and menu) don't work anymore. Otherwise they work fine.
    2) letters with accents like é or ë are displayed as a wihite question mark on a black background.

    Any suggestions?

    Default Works well in 1.9

We've been using Lectora with a variety of Moodle 1.9 implementations for around 4 years now and have found the combination to be very robust and reliable.

I've done some basic testing with Lectora SCORM 1.2 courses in Moodle 2.0 and not found any issues so far. Not had any problems with navigation after displaying question feedback so cant comment without more information.

We don't use Moodle, but I ran into exactly the same issue on your second question when using Lectora with our custom ASP.Net LMS solution. The problem has to do with the way the characters are being encoded by Lectora, which is different from the encoding expected in the LMS. We had this issue with both Spanish and Chinese characters.

After going round and round with Trivantis support, I finally just modified the trivantis.js file to use the javascript "encodeURIComponents()" method, instead of the "escape" method it uses by default. This will encode the text that gets sent to the server in a way that any modern web server/web app should be able to understand.

If you want more details, message me, I might go ahead and start a thread on this, as it may help other people as well.

I should add that modifying that javascript file is an "unofficial" fix, we did a lot of testing with it before putting it live. The support guy I talked to also said to keep a copy of the un-modified file, as Lectora needs to see the unmodified file in it's original location when it tries to do an update.
