Get 100% Quiz, but still marks "Incomplete"
Hello -
I have a course, that has a final Quiz. They must get 100% correct to pass the quiz. If they pass the quiz, the course should mark complete.
I am using the SCORM Test Track Software to test the course - and even after getting 100% correct - I still get a status of incomplete. I do have several other questions in the course, but they are not part of a test, and the score is set to 0.
Does anybody have any idea what I am missing? I have set the Mastery Score to 100% in the settings.

The test score and lesson completion status are two different things. Not sure what you mean when you state "If they pass the quiz, the course should mark complete." Do you have an action set to mark the lesson status completed, conditional on getting a 100% score? If the learner doesn't achieve a 100%, is it your intent for the lesson to not be completed?

I have the same issue. If the learner passes the test, I set AICC_Score to 100 and pass that to the LMS. The scorm files generated when publishing indicate that 80% is required to pass (in my case). Shouldn't the LMS figure out that a passing score is the same as complete.
I've also tried setting AICC_Lesson_Status to complete if the learner passes the test but I get a CMI error when that code is in place.
The help files imply that a passing score is all that's needed to register completion in a course.

Try using "completed" instead of "complete" -- that seems to work for more LMSs. Also, make sure it's all lower-case.

Thank you for the suggestion. Should I include quotes - to signify a string? Other authoring systems require quotes.
According to the documentation from the LMS I'm using, the variable name it's expecting is lesson_status. Does it make a difference that Lectora uses AICC_LESSON_STATUS?

Sorry, should have said not to include the quotes! As for your other question, I don't know the answer, but why not just give it a try and see what happens?

When publishing to SCORM, Lectora converts the AICC_Lesson_Status value that you see as a developer, to cmi.core.lesson_status, which is the SCORM 1.2 RTE (Run-Time Environment) name. Using the value completed should do the trick to complete your course.

OK. I'm developing my first course in Lectora. Can someone tell me where I would put the variable that would "complete" the course in the LMS?

I would suggest putting it on the last page. I would use the action "OnShow" instead on click. I say this because if your learner does not click the item (for whatever reason) they will never finish and then get upset.
