Default Audio Files Issue - AICC to SCORM 1.2

We have switched our Lectora e-learning files from AICC to SCORM 1.2. When doing so it is shortening our audio files when we SCORM them. For example we have a audio file within our e-learning that is about 1.5 minutes, but when SCORMed is shortened it to .51 seconds. Why is it doing this and how do we fix this issue? Has anyone has something similar?

    Thank you Karen

    Default More information

The files are in mp3 format. I can no longer play the audio in the updated version of Lectora. Does it require me to convert them before playing?

    1. Report immediately to support@trivantis.com

    2. Convert to .flv. It is the most reliable format for browsers. You can right click on it and convert to Flash. If you have a lot, open the Resource Manager and you can convert them faster there.

Thank you Ben. I did complete number 1 earlier today and have not heard back. I also tried number two both ways and it is not allowing me to do it. It is giving me an error message:

Error copying resource file. The system cannot find the file specified. I tried this on several files and different e-learnings.

We did test a different scenario. If we take off compression it puts them back to the old mp3 file format after SCORMed and they appear to be working fine. The funny part is after setting the compression and SCORMing them, that some flv files are cutting out and others are not.

Could this have to do with the update rate?

    Thank you,
    Karen

Thank you Ben. I hope to hear from them. I did send a request to scorm.com on the issue to see if they know anything on this issue. They said that it is a Lectora question. He said it does not have to do with the SCORM standard. We have a temporary work around, but need a final solution.

    Thank you,
    Karen

    Default Same Problem Here

Hi there. Sounds like we're having the same problem. Was anyone able to find a solution? Audio (.mp3 files) play fine here, but once uploaded to the LMS (SCORM), the last 3-4 seconds of some audio files are cut off. I'm about to call Trivantis, but thought I'd check here first. Thanks.
