Resend System Generated Emails – Keep students informed by resending course enrollment and completion notifications as necessary.

 

Student Management Enhancements

Customizable User Data – Conveniently categorize CourseMill users into 16 dependent or
independent categories based on your organization’s structure. Use these categories to filter user data within reports, enroll groups of users in courses and curriculums, and make courses available to specific sets of users.

Curriculum Prerequisites – Add curriculum prerequisites, which require students to take specific courses prior to moving onto new curriculums.

Enhanced Report Cards – Report cards now include the number of credit hours earned through the successful completion of each course.

Enhanced Bulk Registration – Save time and effort by using additional user data in bulk
registration such as physical addresses, phone numbers, sub-org categorizations, reporter
assignments, course enrollment specifications and completion scores.

 

Administration and Reporting Enhancements

Personal Calendar Integration – Instructors and students can configure their CourseMill calendar to send course schedule information to personal calendars such as Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo, Google, Lotus Notes, and iCal.

User Role Configuration - Determine each user’s responsibilities and experience by adding and removing rights based on the desired role in CourseMill.

Enhanced Web 2.0 Interface – Quickly modify interface colors, terminology and logos to match your company’s brand by taking advantage of CourseMill’s use of style sheets. Students and instructors experience greater ease of use and faster load time with the new Web 2.0 intuitive interface.

Automatic Data Archiving – Save time when pulling reports by only sorting through your most recent data. Older records are automatically archived, making it faster to run reports.

Manage System Parameters – Administrators can make instant changes to system-wide parameters from within CourseMill without having to restart the system.

Online Audit Trail - For more efficient troubleshooting, administrators can now track who makes changes to components such as courses, curriculums, gradebook items and student registrations.

Session-Specific Notification Information – Conveniently include session-specific information such as session notes and meeting days in automatically delivered course notifications.

Metadata Search – Students can search for and find courses more quickly and easily by using popular key words and phrases (requires that courses include metadata).

Discussion Board Monitoring & Approvals - For added security, administrators and reporters can control discussion board content by approving posts before they are made visible to other discussion board participants.

Advanced Quick Search – Quickly find whatever you’re looking for by filtering your course,
curriculum and user lists using various search terms.

Online Help – Find answers to your CourseMill questions by accessing the online help. Click the Help button where available to access contextual help information as you explore CourseMill features and functionality.
